County pulls proposed countywide transit millage; Alma staff to explore smaller-scale options

City staff said the city had expected to retain departmental oversight and contract services where appropriate and that smaller joint applications with select townships remain possible.
Commissioners discussed the concern that the county's assessment of budget needs may not have been based on a detailed analysis; staff confirmed they will continue outreach to townships that expressed interest and will report back.
