Planning commission approves revised Valentine Farm subdivision

The Tinmouth Planning Commission voted by voice on Oct. 23 to approve minor revisions to the Valentine Farm subdivision, after hearing that the original plat had not been filed as a mylar and was therefore void.
Chair said the prior subdivision was not viable because "there was never a mylar that was put down," and commissioners confirmed the new plan alters about an acre across five lots, with Lot 1 increasing by about 0.33 acres. Commissioners and applicants attributed the boundary adjustments to updated field surveys.
A commissioner explained that applicants have now provided the required mylar sheets. The commission made a motion to approve the changes as presented, the motion was seconded, and members voiced their support. The commission directed staff to prepare the permit paperwork; a commissioner said the permit will be typed, Matthew will sign it, and the item will proceed through the normal 30-day recording/filing process.
