Select Board invites school to Oct. 15 walkaround after letter citing needed repairs

Judy read the letter on behalf of the group and asked that the item be added to the school board agenda for that meeting.
Board members and staff agreed to drop a copy at the district office and to invite school officials to arrive around 6:20 p.m. before the select-board meeting at 7 p.m. Staff said the letter cites a 2016 agreement that requires the supervisory district to perform maintenance; the board asked staff to bring a copy of that agreement to the walkaround to clarify responsibilities. "There have been several requests for attention that have had no results," the letter states, listing rotting siding, peeling paint and missing clapboards among the concerns.
