Mister Schweitzer, the district business manager, presented final transfers and year-end reconciliations, saying the actions would allow the district to retain additional funds in key revolving accounts heading into the next school year.
"It would leave us about a $250,000 heading into next school year," Mr. Schweitzer said, summarizing the net effect after liquidations and reclassifications that preserved funds in athletics, the bus fund, foreign exchange and building rentals. He described $15,000 retained in athletics, about $25,000 in the bus fund, $20,000 in foreign exchange and roughly $100,000 carried forward in building rentals.
The chair asked for a motion to approve the transfers as presented; the committee moved, seconded and unanimously approved the transfers by roll-call vote.
