Planning Commission deems Dolginow plan a minor subdivision; public hearing set for May 12

The Weybridge Planning Commission voted unanimously at its April 14 meeting to consider a sketch plan from homeowner David Dolginow a Minor Subdivision and to schedule a public hearing on the proposal for May 12, 2026.
Commissioner Gale Hurd moved and Commissioner Robin Foster Cole seconded “That the Planning Commission consider the Dolginow proposal a Minor Subdivision.” The motion passed unanimously. Dolginow said his property on Sheep Farm Road is a 10‑acre PAR parcel; the plan would continue the existing driveway easterly along the north boundary down the hill to create a new 5‑acre lot.
Commission discussion noted constraints and site features: roughly 3 acres of the downhill lot are encumbered by a view‑shed easement, and Otter Creek Engineering located what appears to be a suitable primary septic site and a plan for backup systems. Zoning Administrator Nikhil Plouffe said the State will determine septic approval. If the commission ultimately approves the subdivision after the public hearing, Jeff Olson said the Weybridge town attorney must approve the language in the two new deeds at the landowners’ expense.
Nikhil Plouffe will send notices to all abutting landowners and Jeff Olson will submit the required legal notice to the Addison Independent. The public hearing is scheduled for the Planning Commission’s regular meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
