The committee also added a procedural condition: the RFQ package will be sent to the finance office for review and the staff were authorized to make edits as needed before final issuance. Chair framed the step as preserving the committee's ability to refine the RFQ: the amended motion authorizes sending the RFQ "to finance pending review," with final checks to be completed by staff and purchasing.
