Hampton City Council approved a resolution authorizing the transfer of multiple city-owned parcels to the Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority (HRHA) for residential development as part of the city's community-plan implementation.
City staff explained the parcels (three unaddressed parcels on Grant Street, one on Bridal Road and 406 Settlers Landing Road) are owned by the city and that HRHA is the designated agency to implement residential development and compatible projects. There were no public speakers signed up on the item and council approved the resolution by voice/roll call.
