Brooks County Commissioners on May 8 approved a proposed collaboration with property owners to continue repairs to County Road 406. Judge Eric Ramos stated the county had already approved a $20,000 transfer and asked the court to approve the partnership; Road and Bridge Foreman David Guerra spoke to the request. The motion was moved by Commissioner Aaron Trevino and seconded by Commissioner Rolando Gutierrez and passed unanimously.
The collaboration is intended to supplement county road-repair efforts using funds already transferred; the court recorded the approval and directed staff to proceed with the agreed-upon repairs and coordination with property owners.
