"Anyone is welcome to join; it is not a race," Wolf said. Stacey Rainey moved to accept the request and Bill Mayers seconded; the motion carried without objection. The board indicated the event will be advertised in the Addison Independent. The Selectboard did not record any special road closures or permitting conditions in the minutes.
The approval was procedural: the board granted permission for the event to use town roads and acknowledged the organizer’s plan. Residents with questions about staging or support services were not recorded as having raised concerns during the meeting.
