Williamstown Selectboard reorganizes and confirms multiple town appointments

The Williamstown Selectboard completed routine reorganization and filled several town positions on March 10. Following nominations, Larry Hebert became chair, Clayton Woodworth vice chair and Cote Griggs clerk. The board also set its regular meeting schedule (second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., Public Safety Building) and designated legal posting places and official news outlets.
The board approved a slate of appointments: Jacqueline Higgins was confirmed for the Town Sewage Office and named a CT–VT Revolving Loan Fund government board representative; Jason Ball was appointed fire warden (with one abstention recorded); William Graham was named civil defense representative; Barbara Graham and Jacqueline Higgins were named Green Up co-chairs; Richard Powell and Jasmin Coulliard were appointed fence viewers (one fence viewer seat remains vacant); and Jasmin Coulliard was appointed trustee of the Henry S. Baker trust. Heather King received a one-year appointment as moderator. Motions for these appointments were made and seconded and the minutes record them as carried.
