Williamstown planners to seek $25,000 grant to rewrite town plan

The Williamstown Planning Commission asked the Selectboard on March 10 to approve applying for a $25,000 planning grant to support a rewrite of the town plan. Rich Turner presented the request and told the board the commission will provide a required 10% match of $2,500 from its existing budget.
"Requested approval to apply for a $25,000 planning grant for rewriting the town plan," Turner said, and the board voted to approve the application after a motion from Clayton Woodworth and a second from Tyler Mitchell. The minutes record the match amount and that funding for the match is available in the Planning Commission budget. The motion carried.
