The Jackson County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution #1184 (05-19-2026) to set a public hearing for June 23, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. on a proposed road vacation of 133rd Avenue in sections 17 and 20 of Farmers Creek Township. Supervisor Mike Steines moved the resolution; Supervisor Nin Flagel seconded and the resolution passed with Aye votes from Supervisors Schwenker, Steines and Flagel.
The resolution is recorded in Resolution Book 5, page 374. The public hearing will provide an opportunity for affected property owners and residents to comment before any final action on the road vacation is taken by the board.
