The Supervisor told the council the Madison Street project is expected to be finished soon but that the library repair is still awaiting an insurance estimate. He said the city sought a secondary estimate for a guardrail from a different contractor to inform repair planning.
In response to a council question about ground markings around town, the Supervisor explained those are locates for a citywide project and described plans to "fly it with a drone and mark all those on a GPS and map" so workers know where utilities are located and which streets will be rotated and ground up rather than simply overlaid.
