Transit director resigned; Lewis County to provide interim management for Pacific Transit

The Chair, who also serves as chair of the transit board, told the council the transit director submitted a resignation in January effective Jan. 31 and is no longer with the agency. "In the interim, the board has hired Lewis County to provide manager services for Pacific transit," the Chair said, adding Lewis Countys Joe Clark has been placed in the role to review operations and identify needed efficiencies.
The Chair said Lewis County has been in place just over a week and that the board will post a notice to hire a permanent general manager when appropriate. "They've got a real fantastic leader. Joe Clark is his name," the Chair said, describing Clark's background in organizational efficiency.
