The Soap Lake City Council unanimously adopted a resolution Aug. 6 declaring certain firearms and ammunition surplus and authorizing their sale or disposal. The motion, moved by Councilmember Bryson and seconded by Councilmember Gorman, carried without opposition.
Council documents and the motion state the old firearms and ammunition are no longer needed by the department and will be traded for a credit to FFL dealer Double Tap Weaponry, LLC in the amount of $2,000. The resolution is numbered 2025-1032 in the council packet.
