The Soap Lake City Council voted Sept. 3 to approve Progress Estimate #5 for the Rudnick & Sons 2024 Street Improvements and later accepted the project as complete.
Councilmember Gorman moved to approve Progress Estimate #5 "with a correction to line 33 as $8,147.00," a motion seconded by Councilmember Carlson and approved unanimously. Council then moved (M/Gorman, S/Bryson) to accept the 2024 Street Improvements as complete with the contingency that the final contract voucher be received from the contractor; that motion also carried unanimously.
The actions close the city's contractual review for the multi-street pavement project pending the contractor's final voucher. Council did not record any separate amendments to scope or additional funding during the acceptance vote.
