During the July 7 meeting commissioners discussed several operational topics but did not take votes. The commission discussed a planned transition to new waste-management software and considered site-mowing needs. Commissioners also discussed purchasing a pickup truck for staff use on-site and for off-site travel; no purchase motion was made. In a separate discussion the commission considered the future purchase of a refuse hauling trailer, again with no action taken at this meeting.
Staff present, including Andy Jamison, Director/Operations Manager, and operator Ray Hendley, participated in the conversation and provided context for operational needs. Commissioners did not set procurement timelines or authorize expenditures for these items at the meeting; each topic was left for further consideration at a later date.
