The Clinton County Board of Supervisors met July 13 and approved a series of consent resolutions covering personnel changes, leases, subdivision approvals and procurement authorizations.
Resolutions 2026-176 through 2026-178 were approved on the consent agenda. Those measures included ending biweekly paychecks from the Clinton/Jackson Early Childhood Iowa fund following organizational changes (Res. 2026-176); acceptance of Treasurer Tami Stoddard’s retirement with a last day of July 22, 2026 (Res. 2026-177); and approval of Amber Shepard’s salary at $82,695.70 effective July 26, 2026 after completing a six-month probation and receiving a 1.5% ATB increase (Res. 2026-178). Other individual resolutions approved included a lease with the Clinton Substance Abuse Council to run July 13, 2026 through June 30, 2028 (Res. 2026-179), approval of the final plat for Geffre Subdivision No. 2 (Res. 2026-180), approval of a 28E intergovernmental agreement with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources on private well permitting (Res. 2026-181), adoption of the county’s Employment Eligibility Verification Policy effective July 1, 2026 (Res. 2026-182), authorization of a temporary road closure for the Andover Kinderfest (Res. 2026-183) and execution of IADOT Agreement No. 6-26-HBP-S-012 to receive Bridge Formula Program funds for project BHSCO23(149)—63-23 (Res. 2026-184).
The board also held a public hearing for the FY27 Day Labor Timber Plank Materials letting and subsequently approved the bid documents and cost estimate in Resolution 2026-185. The meeting record shows unanimous roll-call approval for the listed measures.
