The Soap Lake City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Aug. 20 meeting. The minutes record two claim batches: #27293-27332 for $133,014.57 and #27329-27383 for $139,107.87 (combined $272,122.44). Payroll items included claims/EFTs in the amounts of $91,942.45 and $54,600.35.
Councilmember Arnold moved "to accept the consent agenda as presented," seconded by Bryson; the motion carried unanimously. During the same block the council voted to excuse Councilmember Carlson (recorded in the minutes); that motion was M/Bryson, S/Woodhouse and carried unanimously.
