Juan Areche, speaking at the July 31 special meeting as president of PACE (Pomona administrators confidential classified management employees), described the group's membership and emphasized collaboration with the board and district ahead of the first day of school.
"Who is PACE? PACE is made up of leaders who support every aspect of our district," Areche said, listing principals, office managers, program administrators and executive leadership and thanking immediate past president Dana McCall. He said teams across departments are preparing campuses and plans for a successful start to the year.
Areche said PACE looks forward to partnering with the board, Superintendent Knowles, and labor partners to support Pomona Unified's mission for students.
