Neighbors urge preservation of screening as designers refine siting

Mark White said the plan "erased" screening near his property and warned that trucks using the adjacent lots could impede maneuvering.
Designers said a recent, more accurate survey with existing trees had just been delivered and that they would engage a landscape architect to preserve screening where possible. The team added that placing the building closer to Mass Ave to preserve screening could require additional site work and tree removal due to grade changes and ledge. The committee asked neighbors to keep participating as the survey and landscape work proceed.
