Staff emphasized the city would be responsible for 100% of any cost overages beyond the project estimate. "So it's a great project," a staff member said, explaining the regional and multi-jurisdictional nature of the road and thanking staff who prepared the application.
Council approved Resolution 25-19 to accept the funding agreement. Staff said the phase 1 waterline work is complete and construction for phase 2 is targeted for the 2027 construction season.
