Marshall County supervisors opened and closed a public hearing on April 8 concerning the proposed vacation of a 16-foot alley in Block 6 of the Town of Quarry. County staff reported there were zero written comments and zero members of the public presented oral objections at the hearing, and Sara Badger, Assistant Auditor/Recorder for Real Estate, provided clarification on the alley-vacation process.
Following the hearing, the board adopted Resolution 2026-0013 ordering the alley vacated and closed. The motion, moved by Christian Goodman and seconded by Carol Hibbs, passed 3-0. The resolution notes no objections were received and includes the alley description.
