Board renews county employee medical, dental and life/disability plans

Marshall County’s Board of Supervisors voted April 22 to renew its employee benefit plans following a special work session with North Risk Partners. The board approved renewal of the medical benefit agreement with HealthPartners Inc., effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028; the delta-dental contract renewal is effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027; and the life, accidental death & dismemberment, long-term disability and short-term disability program through Sourcewell was renewed for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
Nan Benson, the county auditor/recorder, said the three renewal items follow the April 8 special work session with North Risk Partners. Each renewal was approved by motion (movers and seconders recorded) and carried 3-0.
