City Clerk Linda Wigley presented Budget Amendment #3 (final for FYE 09/30/2025) and the list of business privilege licenses issued during the fiscal year; the board approved both items by unanimous vote. The minutes indicate copies of both documents were attached to the meeting record.
The board also approved sending four staff — Mark Hester, Chief Brad Burns, David Myers and Tyler Hayes — to Sigma Chemical Spill Response training in Pearl, Mississippi on Nov. 6, 2025, with the city to pay a $135 registration fee per attendee and allowable costs. Additionally, the board approved payment of $175 for annual membership dues to the Mississippi Building Officials' Association, the mid-month claims docket, and the minutes of Oct. 7, 2025.
