Separately, the board unanimously authorized City Engineer Tim Parker to work with the Mississippi Department of Transportation on the timing of Hwy. 469 widening related to a turn lane for the Cal‑Mar project, a move intended to align the city permit and state highway work. Alderman Kyle Martin made the motion and Alderman Mason Herrin seconded it.
