After that explanation, the Chair moved to approve the pool, stating, "I move that we approve, the pool of physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists for the civil service fitness evaluations." A Committee member seconded the motion. The Chair announced the item was approved.
The staff comments identified the psychiatric providers as previously used and named CareNow and Concentra as included medical providers. The action authorizes the city to use the listed providers for required civil-service fitness evaluations going forward.
