The South Salt Lake City Planning Commission convened July 9, adopted a corrected agenda and approved the June 18, 2026 meeting minutes before addressing two land‑use items.
After staff presentations and brief discussion, commissioners unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit for a 110‑square‑foot Electronic Message Center at 170 East 2100 South with conditions requiring an automatic dimmer, a 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. curfew, a two‑second minimum display time and a 5% minimum allocation for public service messages. The commission then unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit for a brewery at 151 West Angelo Avenue (manufacturing only, no taproom) subject to MTOID pretreatment for wastewater, five off‑street employee parking spaces, indoor containment of mechanical equipment to limit noise, and weekday‑only operations (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.).
The meeting concluded with a unanimous motion to adjourn at 7:25 PM.
