Lone Star highlights long warranties, offers installation and maintenance training

On materials, Lone Star representatives said steel structural components have extensive warranty coverage while some plastic parts have shorter warranties: "the warranties on the steel structures are 100 years," Edwards said, and the firm estimated a 20–25 year usable life for many components while noting that some plastic parts carry shorter coverage. The company emphasized modularity so worn parts can be replaced and highlighted that many of its installers carry tools and perform follow‑up service.
Council members asked about maintenance responsibility and liability; Lone Star reiterated that they will provide training and that parks staff will help determine bench and pavilion placement. No contract award or maintenance agreement was approved at the workshop.
