Louisa County supervisors approve routine claims, appointment and agreement

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors met Feb. 17, 2026, and approved a series of routine actions, including the payment of claims and personnel appointments. Chairman Kevin Hardin called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.; Supervisors Shawn Maine and Scot Hunt were present. "Motion Maine, second Hunt, to approve claims in the amount of $181,116.27 for February 27, 2026," is recorded in the minutes as the board action on payments.
The minutes record additional actions passed that morning: the appointment of Dean Vantiger, FNP, to the Board of Health for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2028; authorization for the chair to sign a Community and Family Resource agreement to establish funding for ASAM level 3.7 services; and approval of the 2025 Family Farm Credit applications.
