Selectboard sets FY27 municipal tax rate at $0.9160 on $1,627,500 grand list

Town Lister Ken Wright presented the municipal tax rate calculation for fiscal year 2027 at the Selectboard meeting on July 20. He reported that municipal tax rates have not increased significantly from FY26 and that the board received two grievances this year.
Scott Henkels moved to set the FY2027 tax rate using a grand list amount of $1,627,500, a municipal tax rate of $0.9160 and a veteran’s offset of $0.0026; Ted Austin seconded and the motion was approved unanimously. The Selectboard did not record any dissenting votes and will publish the rate as part of the town’s FY27 budget documentation.
