Commissioner Richardson opened the Juneteenth review by thanking volunteers and praising turnout and on-stage entertainment, saying, "I just wanna make sure I tell everybody thank you. Appreciate all the hard work, hard work, hard work, everybody. Thought it was a good event. We had a good turnout." He said organizers will email vendors and performers soliciting feedback to use in planning for 2027, and noted that Juneteenth 2027 falls on the actual holiday for improved scheduling.
Richardson reported two food-truck problems: "1 had to end up backing out that day due to staffing, and then we had another 1, he just pulled out," leaving the committee with fewer trucks than planned. He proposed keeping 4–5 food trucks in future years to avoid overburdening vendors while still providing choices for attendees. Members discussed gathering photos and video from a shared Dropbox and using those media assets for future marketing.
