Huber Heights board declares 8273 Ivy Glen Circle a nuisance, orders city abatement

Staff recommended the board declare the property a nuisance and order the city to abate the condition.
"The exterior of a structure shall be maintained at good repair, structurally sound and sanitary so as not to pose a threat to the public health, safety, or welfare," staff stated while reviewing the inspection findings and attached photos. The board moved to declare the property a nuisance and have staff abate it; the motion was approved on a roll call vote.
The board's action authorizes the city to have its contractor install replacement siding as needed and to invoice the property owner for any costs incurred. Chair (name used in meeting) confirmed the motion carried. The case was recorded as PMRB 26-09; staff will follow up on implementation and invoicing.
