Converse County approves HDR agreement for CR43 and $139,211 Jenne Trail change order

Commissioners approved an HDR Engineering Short Form Agreement for design and construction oversight of 2.5 miles of CR43/Walker Creek Road for up to $109,551 and approved Change Order No. 1 for Jenne Trail Reconstruction Phase 3 adding a 96" RCP stockpass and $139,211 (new contract $18,913,281.10).
The Board of Converse County Commissioners on July 21 approved a Short Form Agreement with HDR Engineering, Inc. for design, bidding assistance and construction management for 2.5 miles of CR43/Walker Creek Road in an amount not to exceed $109,551. Todd Mattson of HDR Engineering presented the project update to the commission.
Commissioners also approved Change Order No. 1 for the Jenne Trail Reconstruction Project Phase 3 in the amount of $139,211 to incorporate a 96‑inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) stockpass and add ten working days to the schedule. The change order raises the contract total to $18,913,281.10. The motion to approve the HDR agreement was moved by Commissioner Donald Blackburn and seconded by Commissioner Trent Kaufman; the change order motion was moved by Blackburn and seconded by Kaufman and recorded as "motion carried."
