Each resolution passed by roll call with all seven commissioners voting yes.
Separately, the board authorized the Sheriff to apply for state and federal funding to support technology initiatives. A motion to apply for the OHSP grant to cover first‑year Urban SDK implementation costs passed, and the board approved the Sheriff applying for and accepting the NCHIP grant to pay for Livescan fingerprinting equipment and laptop costs. These grant authorizations were presented as reimbursable or external funding sources to offset local costs.
