Road & Bridge Engineer Jana Hennessy reported Feb. 3 that the board approved balancing change order #4 for Martin Construction Inc., decreasing the CR11 Reconstruction Project No. 11(67)23 budget by $293,544.43. The board also approved the contractor’s final pay application for $379,446.65; motions for both items passed unanimously by roll call.
Hennessy also asked the board to approve advertising for bids for PM2026 Overlay Project 3(74)26, 11(67)26 and 2026-02. The board approved advertising for bids and Hennessy noted Osborn Township will reimburse the county for its overlay portion and Sauber Engineering will bill that township directly for engineering services.
These actions closed out the CR11 project financials and started the procurement process for the PM2026 overlays.
