• Garbage-fee increase: After a review of solid-waste contract timing and fund balances, Alderman Andrew Rhodes moved to add $6 to the monthly garbage fee (bringing it to $28 per household); Alderman Angi Mathenia seconded. Motion passed 4-0.
• SAFER grant submission: Fire Chief Cleveland requested three full-time positions in the SAFER grant application. Alderman Angi Mathenia moved to submit the grant for two positions; Alderman Andrew Rhodes seconded.
