Mayor Terry F. Bell told the board the $1.2 million Gene Record Park project has started and that some dirt will be relocated to create room for an additional playground, a new amphitheater and extra parking. He presented a layout to board members showing where material will be moved and where the additional amenities will be sited.
Bell also thanked park employees and the park board for turnout at the recent Trail of Treats event, and he asked board members to review a recently purchased property after the meeting for ADA compliance and safety updates.
