County approves up to $200,000 for Powers Lake ambulance and $408,776 for Parshall fire equipment

Parshall Fire representatives requested two new grass fire trucks totaling $254,600 and 12 self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) units with spare tanks totaling $154,176. The board approved both requests from the Fire & Ambulance Fund not to exceed $408,776.
Both approvals were presented as one-time capital expenditures from the dedicated Fire & Ambulance Fund; neither item included vendor contract language beyond the quotes presented at the meeting.
