Kalkaska County authorizes surveillance, 911 upgrades and Motorola change order

Approved motions include accepting a Bissell Pet Foundation grant agreement, authorizing $5,488.94 from CWIF to install video surveillance at the fairgrounds (Empiric quote), and approving a $15,939.28 Empiric quote (split $7,020.94 and $8,918.35) from the Tax Revolving Fund for Central Dispatch 911 project. Commissioners also approved change order #4 with Motorola to replace the TRACS Accident Interface with a Premises and Hazmat Module and authorized an EPS Agreement for $17,299.99 to install secure access in the renovated 911 Central Dispatch out of CWIF funds.
The motions passed by unanimous roll-call votes. Commissioners noted MIDC compliance-plan figures were not final but authorized Chair Fisher to execute the FY26 MIDC Compliance Plan and related documents pending final figures.
