Representatives from Stanley Ambulance and Parshall Ambulance presented procurement requests on March 17. The board approved assistance for a new Stanley Ambulance from the Fire & Ambulance Fund not to exceed $439,929. It also approved assistance to Parshall Ambulance for medical equipment (three cardiac monitors, one mechanical CPR device, two ventilators, six IV pumps and two video laryngoscopes) totaling $253,665.18.
Both motions passed unanimously on roll call. The approvals authorize the county to use the Fire & Ambulance Fund to support local emergency medical services purchases; the minutes record the specific line-item totals for the Parshall equipment list and a not-to-exceed figure for the Stanley vehicle.
