At its April 21 meeting the Mountrail County Commission approved two separate ambulance-related actions: approval to purchase a new ambulance for New Town once a vendor quote is received, and authorization for Stanley Ambulance to buy cardiac monitors, ventilators, a stretcher and glidescope equipment not to exceed $231,399.19 from the Fire & Ambulance Fund.
Mason Terry of the New Town Ambulance requested the new vehicle; Commissioners approved the purchase contingent on receipt of a quote. For Stanley Ambulance, Charlie Sorenson and Lacey Jemtrud presented equipment quotes. The motion to approve Stanley Ambulance’s request passed with Olson, DeGroot, Hollekim, Ruland and Rice voting yes.
Both approvals were recorded during the appointments section of the meeting and will proceed per procurement rules and fund availability. The record does not specify vendor names, delivery schedules, or trade-in information.
