Commissioners approve $2.256M HDR agreement and finalize payment on 36th St NW project

Road & Bridge Engineer Jana Hennessy presented several transportation items at the Jan. 20 meeting. The board approved signing a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with HDR Engineering totaling $2,256,308 for CR10 West Reconstruction and CR10 & CR11 paving. The motion carried unanimously.
On the 36th St NW Reconstruction (Project No. 2023-6), the board approved balancing change order #3 with a decrease of $557,125.52 (bringing the total contract decrease to $572,982.42) and authorized final pay to Jensen Brothers Construction in the amount of $629,264.88. The minutes record motion language and a unanimous roll-call vote on both items.
Hennessy also received board approval to advertise bids for Old Hwy 2 from Palermo to Blaisdell (Project No. 02(64)25), for March bid lettings on culverts, gravel and dust-control supplies, and to advertise for bids for three 2026 six-wheel motor graders with trade-ins.
