"Laurel Lakeview Commons phase 5 was approved in September. That was for 29 lots that were subdivided for townhome use," staff said. The same staff member described the wetland dedication: "As part of that dedication plat, a 121 approximately a 121 acres, were dedicated to the City Of Goose Creek."
Staff characterized the dedication as part of the development’s conservation easement process and noted additional dedications could occur in the future. Commissioners acknowledged prior involvement in the rezoning and subdivision review for the site.
