Pittsford receives historic marker; commissioners suggest dedication during Covered Bridge Week

Donna Wilson told the commission that the historic marker has been received and she will coordinate installation and any associated ceremony with the Pittsford Community Center. Ann Reed noted the statewide Covered Bridge Week runs Aug. 2–9 and suggested scheduling a dedication event on Aug. 9 as part of that observance.
Commissioners discussed logistics and suggested Mr. Conway coordinate with town staff on installing the marker. No formal date was set at the April 24 meeting beyond the proposal to aim for Aug. 9 during Covered Bridge Week.
