Superintendent reports Safety City success, AP exam results and summer school dates

During the superintendent's report at the July 9 meeting, the district highlighted several items: a successful Safety City program that served approximately 30 children covering stranger danger, 911 use, water safety (at the Francis Family YMCA), bike, fire and bus safety; repairs to the pool filter; and painting work by Leidel in areas near the cafeteria.
Academics notes included multiple AP students scoring 3 or higher on the AP Chemistry exam and first-year AP Physics successes; the minutes state one student took the AP Biology exam and received a 5 without having taken AP Biology. The board recorded summer school dates from July 21 through August 14, 2025, and a $100 cash donation from Kelli Tuller to the Summer Engagement Program.
