Mantua Zoning Administrator Robert Thayne urged tabling so the town council could consider annexation, and Mantua resident John Hurd told commissioners he was concerned about increased heavy equipment and truck traffic through Mantua, impacts on Mantua's police and fire services, water availability for future development, and potential septic leachate into Box Elder Creek. Commissioner Bonnie Robinson moved to table the application for up to 90 days to allow Mantua’s annexation outcome to become available; the motion passed unanimously.
