The applicant said production will be limited — "probably 3 or 4 dozen of these, a week" — that there would be no customer pick-up or signage at the residence, and that goods would be transported off-site. A board member moved to approve the permit with a condition that if the business expands significantly the owner return to the board for guidance; the motion carried.
The board recorded the limited scale and no on-site sales as central to the home-occupation finding. The permit includes the condition agreed by the board to preserve neighborhood character if the enterprise grows.
