DynoFest, Dino Dash planned at Epic Central; library and EpicRec tout family attendance

"This event is free and open to all and exemplifies the library's mission of bringing learning, literacy, and fun to everyone," Stein said. He told council members that about 11,000 people attended DynoFest last year.
Chris Jannapp, general manager of EpicRec, and Robert Serna, the fitness supervisor who runs Dino Dash, described the related Dino Dash activities. Jannapp called Dino Dash "our 4th year in existence," and Serna said, "Last year, we had about 200 people sign up. This year, we anticipate 300." The run includes a kids’ one‑mile, a 5K and an inflatable‑dinosaur relay for teams of four. Staff said the events are family‑focused and tie into Epic Central’s broader spring entertainment schedule.
