Lakes Area Recreation Association (LARA) asked to add a batting cage at Ki-Chi-Saga Park, offering to fund installation. After discussion of pros and cons, Jolene Wille moved to approve installation with the Park Director directing location and materials; Jessica Bergan seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Director Tart also reported he sent a memo to LARA about the use of the concession building and related monthly operating costs and spending on equipment; Chisago County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is collaborating on parking-lot improvement considerations for the park. No additional board action was taken beyond the batting-cage approval.
